Dear valued clients

We at Montreal Road Animal Hospital are committed to providing the best possible care for your beloved pets. To ensure that we can continue to offer exceptional services to all our clients, we have implemented a No-Show Policy. This policy aims to minimize appointment no-shows and ensure that our resources are utilized efficiently for the benefit of all pet owners.

Effective 07/20/2023, the following guidelines will be in effect:

Appointment Confirmation: All appointments scheduled at Montreal Road Animal Hospital will be confirmed via phone call, text message, or email at least [24-48 hours] days prior to the scheduled date. Clients are requested to respond to these confirmations to acknowledge their attendance.

Cancellation Notification: In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request a minimum of [24 hours] notice. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another pet owner in need of veterinary care.

No-Show Definition: A client will be considered a "No-Show" if they fail to show up for their scheduled appointment without providing prior notice as per point 2. Also a No-Show will also apply if you are late by 15 minutes.

First-Time No-Show: For the first instance of a No-Show, Montreal Road Animal Hospital will contact the client to discuss the circumstances and provide a friendly reminder of our No-Show Policy.

Subsequent No-Shows: In the case of multiple No-Shows, Montreal Road Animal Hospital reserves the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to: a. Requiring a non-refundable deposit for future appointments. b. Restricting the client from scheduling appointments in advance. c. Requesting prepayment for services at the time of booking. d. Terminating the client-patient relationship, requiring them to seek care at another veterinary facility.

Emergency Situations: We understand that emergencies may arise, and we are sensitive to such situations. Please contact us as soon as possible if you cannot make your appointment due to an unforeseen emergency.

Rescheduling Policy: Clients who provide timely notice of cancellation may reschedule their appointment at no additional charge. However, rescheduling due to a No-Show may be subject to additional fees or requirements, as mentioned in point 5.
